Firmware v3.14 Update Instruction for Firmware v3.9 thru v3.13
This documentation is valid for SLASH v3.9 thru v3.13 update to v3.14 and newer.
Definitions:
Background mode: login to the internal http service of the printer, and use the built in webpage for update.
PC mode: update via USB or WIFI and use PC software to implement update.
Note:
If the printer firmware is older than v3.14, only Background mode applies. Once updated to v3.14 and newer, both Background mode and PC mode can be applied.
Background mode update process
- 1. Power on the printer
- 2. Locate the printer info label on the casing and search for the corresponding WIFI SSID and password.
- 3. Connect to the printer’s SSID with a PC or cellphone.
- 4. Open a web browser on the PC or cellphone and key in default webpage IP 192.168.12.1
- 5. At the SSID tab, select your home WIFI, and key in your home WIFI password to connect the printer to the internet.
- 6. When connected, click Update firmware to initiate the update. After update is finished, please restart the printer manually to finalize the update.
PC mode update process
Once the printer firmware is updated to v3.14 and newer, future firmware updates can be implemented via PC software.
- 1. In PC software interface, click

to open printer control panel, check for printer firmware version. - 2. If there is a new version, a red mark will appear
. Double click the red mark to initiate firmware update. After update is finished, please restart the printer manually to finalize the update.
